What in the World...???

Just a quick comment....I find the ads on TV here more than a little different. I am fascinated by them. Apparently slander is ok....if you can prove it!
The cleaning products that name their competitors and claim they make a better product. The pepsi ad where the stunt double is a coke.
But the best ones have to be the prospective governor candidates. They keep going back and forth with statements about each other. "He uses state prison workers for cheap labour", "she claims that Education is her priority, but she rejected the Hope Grant"......and so on with rebuttals and new slanderous statements. It makes for interesting watching!!
It does feel weird though. Oh the strange foreign country that I am living in.....
